Serves 3


  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef

  • 2 tablespoons Flavor Crank Spicy Latin Heat Seasoning

  • 1 tablespoons Flavor Crank All Purpose Seasoning

  • 2 tsp of Salt

  • 1 Tbs of olive oil

  • 1 can (8 ounces) crushed tomatoes

  • 1 can (8 ounce) red kidney beans, drained and rinsed (Optional)

  • 1 cup water

  • ¼ cup of old coffee from the morning

  • 1 Tbs Beef Base or 1 beef bouillion

  • 1 Tbs tomato Paste

  • 1/4 cup Hot Sauce

  • 1 small onion – diced small

  • 1 small red or yellow bell pepper – diced small

  • 2 Tbs of Sun Dried Tomatoes – chopped (optional)

  • 2 cloves of garlic chopped


In a large pot add 1Tbs of olive oil over a medium high heat. Add ground beef and seasonings and stir and break up ground beef until browned. Once ground beef has browned, push meat to one side of the pan and add onions, and peppers to the side with the beef drippings and cook for 1 minute stirring constantly. Add garlic and stir until softened and then mix in ground beef. Add beef base, tomato paste, water and coffee. Stir all ingredients and lower the heat to medium low. Place a lid on pot and allow to cook for another 20 minutes stirring occasionally. Stir in sun dried tomatoes at the end. DONE.

Garnish with sour cream, cilantro, chopped onions and cheese if desired.
